Ningbo，Baoxin Stainless steel Co．，Ltd．(Referred to Baoxin Co．hereunder)is a cold rolled stainless steel sheet plant established in March，1996 jointly by Shanghai Baosteel(Group)Corporation，Zheyong Iron&Steel Investment(Ningbo)Co．，Ltd．，NisshinSteel Co．，Ltd．，Hanwa Co．，Ltd．，and Mitsui Co．，Ltd．，with shares of 54％，12％，20％，7％and 7％ respectively． With the principle of planning in one step and construction in two phases，Baoxin invested 1．747 billion Yuan of RMB for construction of the First phase．Construction was started in May，1997 and has been put into operation on Dec．11，1998，with designed capacity of annual prOduction of 80 thousand tons of cold rolled stainless steel sheet and coil． The plant is located in Ningbo economic and developing zone(Beilun.Xiapu),30 km from downtown,commected with state road #329 in south and close to one of the largest fouor deep water transmission ports Beilungang in the north.The plant covers 265,000m2 in space with green coverage rate being 35%.
