Kalup Company, manufacturer of steel pipes, was established in 1982 with the intention of servicing the water industry. After 22 years of supplying the premium and most suitable pipes without a single costumer complaint, Kalup ventured into the oil and gas related activities With this new venture in mind, Kalup aimed for the highest quality in terms of the acquirement of the equipment and personnel that would be needed to provide pipes according to the most stringent standards used worldwide. Kalup manufactures ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) steel pipes, with diameters from 6 inches to 14 inches, and thickness of from 4 to 10 mm, set for oil, gas, and petrochemical applications, according to API 5L PSL 2 standards up to grade X70. The annual capacity of this mill, based on the production mixture, is about 240,000 tons.
