It started trading heavy industrial machinery internationally in 2005. Within this context, Istanbul Foreign Trade also expanded by trading and marketing power plant machinery. IST imported power plants from abroad and exported to the Middle East and African countries. During the same years, our company had taken a step in the mining sector and has shown a rapid growth in this sector. In 2009, our company has merged with important chrome, manganese and iron mines of Turkey. In this context, by signing partnership agreements with other mining operators in this sector, our firm has marketed and exported the merchandise of these firms to Germany and China. Istanbul Foreign Trade (IST) currently continues its activities in our Istanbul headquarters and is among the major operators and traders in the mining sector.
